This recipe is from the new sweet cook book called SWEET. It is the brain child of Yotom Ottolingi and Helen Gob. The recipe uses custard powder in the basic mixture and the rhubarb is roasted which adds to the distinctive flavour.
Chocolate cloud cake. This cake is lightened with a meringue type mixture and decorated with home grown rosemary, pansies and rose petals
This was made for my sister whose favourite cake is the delightfully light chiffon cake. I used the beautifully coloured tangelo which is a cross between a grapefruit and orange. Tangelo curd was added to the middle of the cake and glace tangelo was used for decoration.
